Jairus’ music can be described as being extremely unique, and bands spanning many different genres often cite Jairus as being influential to their sound. Musically, Jairus share the energy of bands like At The Drive-In and Converge, with the sombre mood of bands such as The Cure, Joy Division and The National. The Jairus of 2011 play darker, heavier, and more beautiful music than they ever have before.

2011 will see Jairus recording and releasing a brand new 4-track EP, ‘Streams Over Sad Parades’, featuring what they believe is the best material the band has ever written. The bands live shows have been going from strength to strength and with plenty of gig and touring plans for 2011 you can expect to hear Jairus’s name a lot in the near future.
